I’m not necessarily against answering some questions about trans stuff. But please do not come at me like you know my life, or anything about this process, because you have played detective & assembled some estimation of a timeline of my personal life or “realizations” judging solely by what I have felt comfortable sharing on a website & when.

I post personal things here, but nobody has any idea of the topics/feelings/experiences I don’t share. This is not “Sascha figures out his gender from scratch in real time & tells all, ZOMG!” It is more like “Sascha feels comfortable being more open, and sharing certain things about his gender because he is 30 fucking years old and okay this isn’t fun, it’s actually kind of intolerable, so instead of bottling things up inside and settling for female pronouns/features/etc and taking long lonely showers and feeling like a space alien he is finally actively doing something about it instead of just thinking and reading about it, and agonizing over it, and talking about it with his partner and friends privately and furtively, so maybe now that things are looking up, let’s maybe write about some of the actions he is taking & share them with nice people on tumblr.” Okay?

I’ve had such a nice day today, specifically because I didn’t describe my entire life history in order to justify my decisions. I’d like to keep it that way.
